During two days round to 600 people with disability were in the New breaking dawn School of the Timayui neighborhood in Santa Marta, Magdalena, for being attend with the benefits of the Health Brigade No 33 carried out by the Maria Luisa Moreno International Foundation.
In the Brigade people with disability received more than 900 attentions in general medicine, orthopaedics, optometry, psicology, physiotherapy and it took laboratory tests, among other services, also it coordinate with the National Police and Magdalena Governorate for being transferred in buses since their home and can receive this benefits.
It highlight that during a month ours volunteers in this country carried out the social diagnostic of this poblation door to door in 32 neighborhoods of this village, where we found a high percent of people with disability with many needs and they live in scarce resources for what they need to be attend in the medical and social.
Since 2011 the Dr. Maria Luisa Piraquive through the Foundation have been worked in Santa Marta for this poblation, this is the second Health Brigade perform in this place and here born the social inclusion method and productive “Discover the ability, a opportunity” for people wih disability by which were awarded recently the Dr. in Phylosophy of the education Ph.D and educational sciences Master qualifications by the Ibero-American Council in honour to the quality education and the Government of the Puebla state and by part of the World academy honourable of Education the “Ibero-American Distinguished Educator” in Mexico.
