The Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation celebrated their well-known educational campaign “One Day for Kids,” on the 19th of August 2017, at Southeast Optimist Park in the city of London, Ontario, Canada.. 374 children along with their families attended this event and enjoyed a day full of educational and fun activites.
The Foundation delivered 53 school kits for children under 4 years, 321 school kits for children between 5 and 12 years, snacks and lunch. Thanks to the help of various sponsors and the hard work of our volunteers, boys and girls from Southeast London received school supplies to begin with great joy this new school year.
Thank you for the support of our sponsors, donors, volunteers and partners we were able to benefit over 400 children in need by providing them with a day of fun, love, entertainment, and prizes; we were able to teach values and important skills; and give to each child a tote bag filled with school supplies.
