On May 3, 2025, the María Luisa de Moreno International Foundation held a special event in the city of London, Ontario (Canada), aimed at strengthening teamwork and raising awareness of the humanitarian work carried out by the Foundation around the world.
Throughout the day, volunteers engaged in a series of recreational activities designed to foster collaboration, inclusion, and a sense of belonging. Through group dynamics and interactive games, they shared meaningful experiences and forged stronger bonds.
One of the most memorable moments of the gathering was the performance by guest artists, who presented songs representative of Colombian culture, filling the atmosphere with joy and cultural pride. In addition, raffles were held, offering special gifts as tokens of appreciation for the dedication and commitment of all the volunteers.
The theme of the event celebrated the richness of Colombian culture, which was also reflected in the food. Attendees enjoyed a traditional afternoon snack featuring hot chocolate served with a variety of typical Colombian breads and cheese—evoking comforting flavors and cherished memories of home.
This event not only strengthened the ties among volunteers but also served as an opportunity to promote core values such as respect, solidarity, and the joy of serving others. The Foundation extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in this unforgettable experience and reaffirms its commitment to continue sowing hope and building a better world.
