The Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation hosted a moving event in Shepherd’s Bush, dedicated to celebrating and supporting women who benefit from the Foundation’s ongoing work.
The event opened with a warm welcome and an inspiring message from Dr. María Luisa Piraquive, followed by a beauty and self-care workshop led by a professional aesthetician, setting a friendly and uplifting atmosphere for the day.
Guests enjoyed a range of activities and were each presented with thoughtful gifts, including an elegant light-up vanity mirror and other personal care items. A makeup session, generously offered by a professional makeup artist, allowed attendees to feel pampered and appreciated. The celebration was further enlivened by a talented salsa singer, filling the room with smiles and enthusiasm.
Fresh sandwiches, finger food and drinks were offered, ensuring everyone was well looked after. Each guest was given a thoughtful gift to take home, while several lucky attendees were delighted with additional prizes and surprises as part of the day’s celebrations.
The day concluded with a group activity that promoted unity, solidarity, and personal well-being.
