The Foundation’s volunteers from London, Ontario Canada, traveled to The Earl Nichols Recreation Center, with the purpose of surprising more than 65 older adults who in turn enjoyed a special day full of laughter, activities, and many gifts.
The event One day for the Older Adult was celebrated amid dances and cultural performances. The attendees through many fun activities strengthened their knowledge of values, and enjoyed delicious appetizers and gifts chosen just for them.
When the day concluded, the smiles held by all the beneficiaries gave proof of the importance of the social work led by Dr. Maria Luisa Piraquive, through whom the lives of hundreds of families around the world have been positively impacted.
