One Day for Seniors

The María Luisa de Moreno International Foundation continues to make a positive impact on the communities of Toronto and Mississauga through initiatives that promote well-being and joy.

Recently, the event “One Day for Seniors” brought together 70 older adults for a special afternoon where they learned strategies to identify and manage emotions, while delving into the value of resilience. Attendees actively participated in music activities, practical exercises, recreational dynamics, and danced to the rhythm of cumbia.

As part of the event, 8 shopping carts and 3 plant stands were raffled, and each participant received a winter kit, a personal hygiene kit, and a healthy snack.

Inspired by the values of compassion and help imparted by Dr. María Luisa, we continue working to create meaningful moments that strengthen our community. Support and joy are fundamental pillars of our foundation!
