On March 1st 2017, The Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation organized “One Day for Kids” in the city of Ottawa, Ontario, where 23 children were benefited with school kits, snacks, games, contests and a delicious lunch.
It was a day full of joy and activities where kids between the ages of 6-11 years old participated in a small talk about the importance of recycling. The kids put the lesson into practice with a beautiful custom contest where they had to design their customs using recyclable materials. This activity was in hands of our volunteers who did their best to make the children happy.
We want to thank our volunteers who contributed to a wonderful day full of happiness and learning to our kids, as without their help this event would not have been possible.
