From January to August 2024, thousands of families in Toronto and Mississauga have experienced the positive impact of the food distribution campaigns organized with great dedication by the Maria Luisa de Moreno International Foundation, in collaboration with our invaluable local partner, @secondharvest. These campaigns, filled with solidarity and hope, have delivered fresh fruits, vegetables, proteins, and essential products to more than 3,000 families in the communities of North York, Toronto, and Mississauga.
Every week, the Foundation’s volunteers dedicate themselves with joy and commitment to this mission, inspired by the values of help and compassion instilled by Dr. María Luisa. Thanks to this tireless effort, we have been able to offer much more than food: we have brought peace of mind, support, and hope to thousands of households, creating a lasting and profound impact on these families.
The collaboration between the Foundation and local partners, like @secondharvest has been key in making this dream a reality. Teamwork makes help go further!
