From January to November 2025, thousands of families across Toronto and Mississauga have benefited from the food distribution initiatives carried out by the María Luisa de Moreno International Foundation, in collaboration with dedicated local partners working to strengthen food support across Ontario.
Throughout this period, 2,463 food packages have been delivered, reaching 6,240 individuals and providing fresh produce, proteins, and essential goods to families facing challenging circumstances.
Inspired by the humanitarian values and service spirit taught by Dr. María Luisa Piraquive, our volunteers continue to work tirelessly to bring not only food, but emotional support, dignity, and hope to families throughout the region.
The collaboration between the Foundation and local partners has been essential for expanding this initiative, and we reaffirm our commitment to continue promoting solidarity, well-being, and opportunities for the communities we serve across Canada.
