One day for seniors in Toronto, Canada

Día para el adulto mayor en Toronto, Canadá

From December 19 to 21, three one-day sessions for the elderly were held in which the Foundation managed to joyfully celebrate 300 seniors in the city of Toronto, Canada.

Through the delivery of food baskets, folkloric dances and the encouragement of more than 40 volunteers, seniors who are currently living in low income housing, were able to enjoy a recreational moment in which smiles were everywhere.

Thanks to the partnership with one of the largest senior healthcare providers in the province, Carehope, and the food rescue charity, Second Harvest, the Foundation was also able to hand out various gifts that will be a great asset for the winter such as blankets, gloves, socks and scarves.

The seniors expressed their gratitude to the founder María Luisa Piraquive for making this work possible and taking care of all of them through this event, and through the various programs that were carried out throughout 2022.
